Oh, the sound of the pipes.

Arrived at our venue today just in time to watch the Pipefest procession go by.  Boy, was it loud!  So many pipe bands filing down the Royal Mile and then the High Street - it was a really amazing sight.

So we've now done our first show to a full house - sorry that it was so hot in there!  Lights, so many people, etc made it a bit stifling.  Everyone seemed to enjoy the show and there was lots of great feedback.  Long may this continue.


We've had a day off from seeing shows ourselves but treated ourselves to lunch out at Valvona & Crolla.  It's an amazing Italian shop but in fact, as vegetarians, we weren't that impressed with the food in the cafe.  We prefer Vittoria's up Leith Walk.
