Still one day to go... 31st July 2006

We've just had one hell of a weekend. Broke down on the way to a show in Norwich. Had to push the van - and trailer - along the A11 to some services. Don't think that I've ever been so hot!! Missed our show, but finally got to Norwich. Please don't ever stay in the Travelodge in central Norwich. It's just a complete dump - no air conditioning and you're not allowed to open the windows - so in this heat you can imagine how unpleasant that was. Also they don't have any parking and sting you £11 per night for parking in the NCP. Horrible manager who said he really couldn't care less whether we used his hotel or not.

Have spent the day trying to get everything done for Edinburgh. Still not ready.......
